About MAKDrone

MAKDrone is a UAV technology and services company co-founded by Mario Blazevski, built directly on the engineering work developed through the Agri-pHLy precision agriculture project. The company's mission is to make autonomous drone technology practical and accessible for agricultural, industrial, and environmental monitoring applications in North Macedonia and the wider region.

MAKDrone operates at the intersection of hardware engineering and applied autonomy — designing and deploying custom UAV platforms with integrated sensing, telemetry, and automated mission planning capabilities.

Engineering foundation

MAKDrone's technical foundation is the Agri-pHLy system — a full-stack precision agriculture UAV developed with EIT Food funding and demonstrated at the EIT Food Challenge Labs Macedonia 2025 competition. The platform achieved ±0.2 pH measurement accuracy, live LoRa telemetry, and automated variable-rate flight path generation.

Mario brings to MAKDrone the full breadth of his engineering background: UAV systems design, embedded control (Arduino, ESP32), MATLAB/Python flight simulation, CFRP airframe construction, and ICAO/EASA-aligned operational safety — all backed by an EASA A1–A3 drone pilot licence.
