North Macedonia's first and only team to qualify for the F1 in Schools World Finals — competing on the global stage in London (2022) and Singapore (2023). Founded, built, and led by Mario Blazevski.
AerTh Racing is North Macedonia's first internationally competitive motorsport and aerospace engineering team — founded by Mario Blazevski in September 2022. The team competes in F1 in Schools, the world's foremost STEM competition run under FIA sanctioning, in which student engineers design, manufacture, and race miniature Formula 1 cars using industry-standard CAD, aerodynamics, and manufacturing techniques.
Starting from zero with no national precedent, Mario assembled and led a multidisciplinary team of 6–12 students — covering aerodynamics, structural design, manufacturing, sponsorship, and marketing — and brought North Macedonia to the F1 in Schools World Finals for the first time ever.
F1 in Schools demands real engineering rigour across every discipline — from aerodynamics to marketing strategy.
CFD simulation and optimisation of the miniature car's aerodynamic profile — minimising drag while maximising stability at competition speeds.
Full 3D modelling in Fusion 360 and SolidWorks — iterating on geometry, tolerances, and weight distribution across each season.
3D printing and CNC machining of car components; materials selection for minimum weight and maximum structural integrity under racing loads.
Peer-reviewed paper: "Analysis of Aerodynamic Characteristics of Racing Cars" — IJERA, ISSN 2248-9622, Vol. 13, Issue 3, March 2023.
Secured multi-year corporate and academic sponsorships; developed full business plan, brand identity, and marketing campaign.
Founded the team from scratch and led 6–12 engineers across two seasons — managing timeline, technical quality, and international competition logistics.
